The company plans to develop future habitats and systems for the Moon and Mars, dedicated space stations for government partners, and other crewed systems that will unlock the expanding long-term space economy.Vast is looking for a(n) Information Systems Support Specialist, reporting to the Senior Technology Operations Manager, for providing day-to-day technical support to Vast’s internal employees and making sure systems run smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues, providing timely and efficient solutions to their problems. Your expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and exceptional customer service will be key to your success in this role. This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location.Responsibilities: Provide L1/L2 Support for all VAST Enterprise Systems. These include but aren’t limited to ERP, MES, PLM and other engineering systems.80% of time spent providing L1/L2 support for all VAST Enterprise Systems, 20% of time assisting with project related workFirst point of contact/line of support for any software/application support needed.License provisioning for engineering systems and corporate systemsMonitor, respond and resolve incidents in an ITSM system while ensuring SLA performance metrics are met. Ex: Jira SM, ZenDeskLearning how to triage project requests on top of day to day L1/L2 supportStrong understanding of the enterprise system landscape and functional knowledge of processes.Strong collaboration skills with multiple departments and stakeholdersComfortable with enterprise application access controls, troubleshooting / reproducing software bugs, and partnering with Technical Product Managers on larger projectsProvide support for multiple locationMinimum Qualifications:3+ years of experience in IT or Information Systems supportExperience handling tickets in a service desk Proven experience with ITSM toolsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaborativelyExhibits excellent cross collaboration communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to resolve difficult technical issues with limited informationPreferred Skills & Experience:Experience in a manufacturing/aerospace environmentExperience handling tickets in a service desk but preferred in Jira Service ManagementExperience supporting enterprise applications such as Netsuite, Manufacturo, NX/Teamcenter, engineering systemsExperience with JIRA/Confluence on prem or cloud configurationPrior experience working in a fast-paced startup environment or enterprise level environmentFamiliarity with aerospace industry regulations and standards regarding IT and dataExperience supporting 800+ end usersAdditional Requirements:Strong troubleshooting skills and application support skillsStrong attention to detail and exhibits proactivity/can do attitudePay RangeIS Support Specialist II: $31/hr - $44/hrSenior IS Support Specialist: $43/hr - $61/hrPay Range: California$31—$61 USDWe calibrate level and compensation to the selected candidate's experience and demonstrated capability.
