UW Medical Center-Northwest) 1E Ortho/Neuro has an outstanding opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Patient Care Technician (PCT) position.

SCHEDULE:

90% FTE - 36 hours per week

Night shift

No specific schedule

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse
• Assist patients with activities of daily living: bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating
• Maintain a safe environment of care
• Patient transportation
• Prepare patients for surgery
• Perform non-invasive lab procedures
• Transport equipment and supplies
• Assist with treatments
• Perform various clerical tasks
• Take vital signs

REQUIREMENTS

• Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (NAC) with WA State (please indicate your NA-C credential number on your resume)
• High School graduation and six months experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting; OR equivalent education/experience.
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider CPR card by start date

Compensation, Benefits and Position Details

Pay Range Minimum:

$28.79 hourly

Pay Range Maximum:

$41.82 hourly

Other Compensation:

Night Shift Premium - $5.00/hour Evening Shift Premium - $1.50/hour Weekend Shift Premium - $4.00/hour Overtime Pay
