Strivector's premier client (a well-known market leader in their space) is hiring for the following full-time direct hire position.Position Overview: As a Nursing Director ER your roles and responsibilities will include:Operations and Financial ManagementDevelop and manage departmental budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation.Monitor productivity, operating costs, and departmental performance.Manage supply chain needs and implement corrective action plans for budget variances.Support strategies to increase patient volumes and improve operational efficiency.People and Team LeadershipRecruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate department employees.Mentor and develop nursing leaders and clinical staff.Monitor employee engagement and turnover and implement improvement plans.Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and professional standards.Maintain staffing schedules, payroll records, and performance evaluations.Quality and Regulatory ComplianceEnsure compliance with Joint Commission (TJC) and other applicable regulatory requirements.Monitor departmental quality indicators and support organizational core measure goals.Develop and implement initiatives to improve patient safety, outcomes, and satisfaction.Review and update departmental policies, procedures, and standards of care.Patient Experience and Physician RelationsBuild effective working relationships with physicians, hospital leadership, and staff.Improve patient experience and satisfaction throughout the emergency care process.Resolve operational issues promptly and promote a respectful, patient-centered environment.Represent the hospital on medical staff committees.Ensure proper maintenance and availability of departmental equipment and instrumentation.Qualifications: Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Nursing Director ER who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Nursing Director ER would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field, or equivalent qualifying experience as accepted under the job requirements.At least five years of nursing management experience in a hospital setting.At least three years of supervisory experience.Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license.Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.Preferred QualificationsMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN).Emergency Department leadership experience in an acute-care hospital.Experience managing high-volume emergency services and trauma-center operations.Knowledge of budgeting, staffing productivity, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and patient satisfaction.Compensation: Based on Experience.
