Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift

Forklift OperatorFull-time, Monday thru Friday with overtime required when necessary, including some weekends. This is an hourly position with growth potential! You will be responsible for all activities associated with safely operating and caring for the forklift.Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED.Strong desire to learn and grow in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced environment.At least 6 months experience operating a sit-down forklift in a fast pace environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesWork at a fast-pace delivering stock and removing finished goods from machines.Complete and document a forklift inspection form at the start of each shift, notify supervisor if repairs are needed.Maintain neat, orderly, and safe stacks of stock in storage areas.Complete all necessary reporting in an accurate and timely manner.Maintain accurate location of stock in storage by utilizing computer-based inventory system.Adhere to daily production schedule. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.Performance MeasurementsThe performance of the employee will be measured as follows: Operating standards - the employee will need to meet or exceed the Operating Standards in the areas of quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction and productivity. Such standards will be set annually and communicated to the employee. Personal growth - while the company will provide the tools to assist the employee to grow professionally the responsibility for moving forward lies with the individual. Each year there will be goals developed and agreed to by the employee and his/her superior.
