Job Description

Job Summary:

Provides specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac and radiologic procedures within the Cath Lab, ensuring accurate data entry for billing and maintaining detailed case records in digital archives. Acts as a vital team member supporting high-quality diagnostic imaging and interventional services.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care by performing cardiac and radiologic procedures according to departmental protocols.
• Collect, document, and log case data accurately for billing, reporting, and record-keeping purposes.
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring safety and optimal image quality.
• Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate smooth procedures and effective patient management.
• Adhere to safety practices, confidentiality laws, and clinical standards throughout all tasks.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited CVT or RCIS program with current, unencumbered registration required.
• Possess CCI credential or agree to obtain within six months of hire.
• Minimum one year of experience or training in a Cath Lab or interventional radiology setting preferred.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required; ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required due to CAP requirements for moderate complexity testing.
