Pharmacy Manager

Your future role at a glance Location: Milwaukee, WI Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital Department: Pharmacy Schedule: Full-time |40 hours| How you'll make an impact in this role Operational Leadership: Oversee and streamline daily pharmacy operations to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality patient care. Clinical Excellence & Safety: Champion performance improvement initiatives, focusing on medication safety, medication use evaluations (MUEs), and cost-effective pharmacoeconomic strategies. Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and evaluate a team of dedicated pharmacists, pharmacy residents, and pharmacy students through ongoing competency assessments and tailored training programs. Financial Stewardship: Manage and optimize the departmental budget, balancing high-standard clinical care with smart pharmacoeconomic practice. Regulatory Oversight: Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and Board of Pharmacy regulations and guidelines. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure/Certification/Registration: Pharmacist credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required. Work Experience: 3 years of experience required OR a graduate from an accredited Health System Pharmacy Administration residency program required.
