Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiology Clinic position in Larkspur, CA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of cardiovascular or hospital nursing experience and an active CA RN license.

Details

• Outpatient cardiology clinic setting serving multiple areas including the Cardiology Clinic, EP/Afib Clinic, and Testing Center
• Day shift, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
• Full-time schedule, 40 hours/week
• No holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active California RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiovascular clinic experience and/or hospital nursing experience
• BSN degree highly preferred
• 2 years of experience in a critical care or cardiac inpatient unit preferred
• 2 years of telemetry monitoring experience preferred
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs nursing assessments, problem identification, care planning, and reports complex clinical data to EP/Cardiologists and Electrophysiologists
• Provides pre- and post-op patient education for Cardiology and EP procedures
• Triages patients' physical symptoms and arrhythmias per protocol, consulting with cardiologists or electrophysiologists as appropriate
• Covers RN Testing Center and Cardiac PET CT Imaging procedures as needed
• Participates in Transition of Care Management, including medication reconciliation and follow-up coordination
• Assists Nurse Supervisor and/or Director with nursing practice matters and policy/protocol development
• Immunization requirements include MMR, seasonal flu, and COVID-19 vaccine + booster as a condition of employment
