Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing advanced radiographic and CT techniques to provide quality images for diagnosis
• Work closely with radiologists and a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure precise evaluation and interpretation of images
• Position patients accurately, calibrate equipment, and maintain necessary safety protocols for optimal imaging outcomes
• Adhere to radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff alike
• Keep thorough records, including imaging logs and equipment maintenance documentation
• Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process
• Help foster a safe, streamlined, and organized environment in the imaging department

Education Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is an asset
• Must be a graduate of an accredited radiology program

Certifications Required

• ARRT certification for CT and/or Radiography
• Current BLS certification or the capability to achieve it within 90 days post-hire

Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
