AA Express Repair & Service LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our growing team. We are a large and expanding shop that takes pride in providing high-quality service, and we are looking for individuals who want to grow with us long-term. We are planning to expand into roadside service and towing operations in the future, so candidates with experience or qualifications in roadside assistance, field service, or towing are highly encouraged to apply.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can diagnose and repair equipment efficiently, and wants to be part of a professional shop that values quality, teamwork, and growth.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and emissions systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, steering, driveline, cooling, and fuel systems.
• Troubleshoot engine performance and check engine light issues.
• Perform computer diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket software.
• Complete repairs on tractors, trailers, and other commercial equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.
• Work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a diesel mechanic preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, Volvo, Mack, and other heavy-duty diesel engines is a plus.
• Experience with electrical diagnostics and air brake systems.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.
• Bringing your own tools is a plus, but tools can be provided if needed.
• Experience or interest in roadside service and towing operations is a strong plus.

Pay
