What You Will Do:

You will perform Platform Systems Engineering (PSE) activities for the SOA helicopter programs, including creation of design artifacts and decisions, execution of test procedures, testing the systems out in the lab, etc. Tools used are DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others.

You will complete work for avionics solutions across the cockpit avionics for the Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs.

You will design system solutions, ensuring the integration of Collins Aerospace products into complex upgrade programs working with other military helicopter programs.

What You Will Learn

You will begin your understanding of aircraft systems engineering, gaining insights into advanced integration and development processes.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.

• Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
