TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Prescott, Arizona, 86301!

Job Title: RN II - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to read basic telemetry strips - Some experience with CVA and TIA - Total joint replacement experience - Cerner experience recommended Description: The unit has a total of 49 beds. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Common diagnoses include CHF, COVID-19, respiratory issues, GI issues, diabetes, telemetry cases, post-catheterization patients, and total joint replacements. Registered Nurses are required to interpret telemetry strips and must sign off at least once per shift. Charge nurses and house supervisors are available on the unit. Nurse aides are part of the team with a ratio of 1:10-15. Commonly used equipment includes BiPap and CPAP for breathing treatments. Shifts run from 7 AM to 7 PM. Self-scheduling is utilized, but schedules are finalized by management. Weekend requirements include working two weekends every four weeks. For major holidays such as Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving, specific working days are required. Nurses may be required to float to other areas within the facility if qualified. The dress code includes navy blue scrubs. There are four cancelable shifts per contract; three if the contract is under 13 weeks. The charting system used is Cerner. No trauma level specified. Care setting is acute. Nursing division. Floating may be required.
