Description: Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. First-time travelers are not accepted. Patient population details are not specified. Required equipment includes steam sterilizers, plasma sterilizers, biological incubators, washer/decontaminators, ultrasonic cleaners, and washer air guns. The unit has 17 rooms with an average surgical volume of 50 cases and a daily tray volume of 450. Preferred systems include Epic and other specified software. Scrub color is provided by the facility. Maximum allowable time off is 7 days. No weekend shifts are required. Floating within the facility may be necessary as needed. No call requirements are specified. If one major holiday occurs during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work. If two major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work both. If three major holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not achieved in time, the start may be pushed back by 2 weeks. Candidates will be reviewed clinically to determine fit within guidelines before final decision-making. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Previous charge experience is not required. Trauma experience is not specified. Must be compliant with submission rules. RTO requests must be finalized at the time of submission with no requests allowed post-offer. Compliance documents must be submitted by the specified deadline.
