Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Float
This position will require working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend and holiday.
Job Description
Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a dynamic, fast-paced med-surg environment. This position involves floating to various medical-surgical floors, providing comprehensive patient care, and delivering critical support across different specialties, including Orthopedics, Neurology Step Down, Oncology, Surgical Telemetry, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients across multiple specialties.
- Monitor patient progress and administer medications as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and procedures.
- Adapt to various clinical environments as needed to meet patient care demands.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Ability to float between different med-surg units as needed.
- Experience in specialized areas such as Telemetry or Oncology is preferred.
- Required health history screenings and immunizations will be verified for onboarding.
