Senior Business Analyst

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Work Arrangement: Hybrid 2 days onsite per week

Interview: MS Teams

Visa: USC, EADS, H1B [Need pp number]

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and document existing application requirements and functionality.
Gather requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Identify opportunities for system and business process improvements.
Translate business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria .
Prioritize requirements and connect them to applicable business, policy, or legislative requirements.
Propose new features and capabilities that provide measurable business value.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, developers, architects, and data/technical teams.
Assist with evaluating technical approaches, integrations, platforms, and architecture decisions as needed.
Ensure business requirements are clearly understood by the technical delivery team.
Develop and execute test scenarios and validate system functionality.
Lead and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Identify risks, dependencies, issues, and project impediments.
Support change management, user adoption, and training activities.
Ensure solutions align with security, accessibility, data privacy, and compliance standards.
Provide regular status updates, analysis, and recommendations to business and IT leadership.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience as a Business Analyst , including at least 3 years in a Senior Business Analyst role .
Demonstrated experience analyzing legacy applications or supporting digital transformation/application modernization initiatives.
Strong requirements gathering and documentation experience.
Hands-on experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria .
Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies .
Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile tools .
Experience testing large-scale applications/projects.
Strong experience leading or coordinating UAT .
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong organizational, analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
