This position is responsible for supporting the growth and development of The Peach Pit’s Ninja program. The Ninja Coach will provide fun, engaging, and skill-based instruction focused on obstacle training, strength, agility, coordination, balance, and overall athletic development. This role includes instructing participants, maintaining a safe training environment, and creating innovative coaching techniques, challenges, drills, and obstacle courses while maintaining The Peach Pit’s posh boutique environment and high standard of customer service.

Essential Duties:

• Teach recreational Ninja classes for children of varying ages and skill levels.
• Create engaging obstacle courses, circuits, challenges, and drills that develop strength, agility, balance, coordination, speed, and confidence.
• Provide age-appropriate instruction and progressions to help athletes safely develop new skills.
• Prepare students for end-of-session performances, showcases, or challenges as applicable.
• Maintain a fun, energetic, positive, and encouraging class environment.
• Communicate with staff, athletes, and parents in a timely and constructive manner.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding students’ progress, strengths, and areas of development.
• Maintain proper supervision and enforce safety standards throughout all classes and activities.
• Assist with equipment safety checks and equipment set-up/take-down.
• Participate in professional development opportunities, including trainings, clinics, meetings, and certifications.
• Complete gym opening and closing duties each shift as assigned.
• Assist with camps, open gyms, birthday parties, special events, and other Ninja programming as needed.
  

We are looking for an upbeat, energetic, self-motivated, outgoing, and reliable coach who loves working with children and creating an exciting athletic environment. The ideal candidate has an interest or background in Ninja, gymnastics, parkour, obstacle training, martial arts, tumbling, fitness, or youth sports. Coaching or teaching experience is preferred, but we offer a fabulous training program designed to teach coaches The Peach Pit style of youth athletic education and help them confidently lead our Ninja programming.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Monday 2:00p - 7:00p Tuesday 2:00p - 7:00p, Wednesday 2:00p - 7:00p, Thursday 2:00p - 7:00p Friday 2:00p - 6:00p, Saturdays 9:00a-1:00p

Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 /hour
