Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Ohio Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience New graduates and 1+ years of clinical experience are welcome to apply Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties at the discretion of the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year. A tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions and must be completed prior to starting employment (not applicable in the state of FL & TN).
