2 Years RN Experience Required In An Outpatient Setting RN ICU or Operating Room experience preferred. Job Summary A challenging role supporting patients with advanced heart failure who receive mechanical circulatory support (MCS) devices. The position manages the full care pathway—from patient identification and evaluation to implantation and long-term follow‑up—while coordinating multidisciplinary care and device management. Responsibilities Support patients with advanced heart failure receiving mechanical circulatory support devices. Manage the full care pathway from patient identification and evaluation to implantation and long-term follow‑up. Coordinate multidisciplinary care and device management. Provide patient and staff education. Coordinate long‑term care and data collection. Participate in quality improvement initiatives. Provide on‑call coverage Monday‑Friday nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in inpatient or outpatient settings. RN ICU or operating room experience preferred. Cardiology background preferred. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patient care personnel and families. Analytical ability and motivation to plan, deliver, and implement plans of care in acute and outpatient settings. Certifications & Licensure Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
