Mercyhealth System in Janesville, Wisconsin, is currently seeking a Full-Time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Palliative Care Physician to join our collaborative inpatient care team serving Southern Wisconsin.

Established and growing Palliative Care program
Strong referral base from hospitalists, oncology, critical care, and specialty providers

Opportunity to participate in program development and expansion of palliative care services
Departmental Scope: Join a collaborative interdisciplinary team, including:
Palliative Care Physicians
Advanced Practice Providers
Palliative Care Nurses
Social Workers
Chaplain / Spiritual Care
Case Management
Practice within a hospital-based setting focused on:
Inpatient palliative care consultations
Symptom management and pain control
Goals-of-care discussions with patients and families
Advance care planning and end-of-life support
Coordination of care across specialties
Participation in interdisciplinary team meetings
Ideal candidate will:
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
Take a compassionate, patient-centered approach
Demonstrate interest in program growth and development
Provide education to staff and support interdisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications: MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible
Fellowship training in Hospice and Palliative Medicine preferred
Eligible for Wisconsin medical licensure
Strong commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team
