Contract Details

• Position Type: Contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Pay Rate: $50.00–$52.00 / Hour (USD)
• Shift / Schedule: Day (4x10 Hours), 7:00–17:30
• Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Job Summary

Our client is a specialty hospital that engages in care coordination for neurological and cardiac patients and is a comprehensive stroke center. Clinicians must have prior hospital experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient social services and case management support within an acute care hospital setting
• Engage in care coordination for neurological and cardiac patients
• Provide weekend coverage: minimum 2 weekend days per month (typically 1 Saturday per month and 1 Sunday per month, not in the same weekend)
• Float to other Swedish campuses (Issaquah, First Hill, Ballard) if census is low

Required Skills

• Epic experience required
• Experience with inpatient/acute care settings
• Experience with case management
• Ability to float to other Swedish campuses as needed based on census

Education Requirements

• LCSW License (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) — Required
• BLS certification required
• LSWAIC certification required

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• First-time travelers accepted
• Prior hospital experience required
• Inpatient/acute care experience required
• Case management experience required

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

• Floating may be required to other Swedish campuses (Issaquah, First Hill, Ballard) when census is low
• Weekend coverage required: minimum 2 weekend days per month (typically 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday per month, not in the same weekend)
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00–17:30

Important Notes

• Permanent candidates from any NON-Swedish facility are eligible for a travel contract if they have been separated from that facility for at least 3 months.
• COVID-19 vaccination: Not required
