Lawyers On Demand (LOD), a Consilio company, is seeking experienced Texas-licensed Litigation Defense Attorneys for an exciting, long-term opportunity supporting the in-house legal team of a major global banking and insurance provider.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced insurance defense litigator who enjoys legal research, drafting, case strategy, and managing complex litigation, but is ready for a change from the traditional law firm environment.

The Opportunity

You will work alongside an experienced in-house legal team, supporting the management and defense of personal injury and automobile insurance claims litigation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting substantive legal research and drafting motions, pleadings, memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Developing initial case assessments, litigation strategies, case plans, and timelines.
• Managing active insurance defense matters throughout the litigation lifecycle.
• Providing pretrial preparation, discovery, and trial support to attorneys handling court appearances.
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders and outside counsel to support effective litigation management.
• Maintaining timely communication and delivering high-quality legal work in a fast-paced corporate environment.

What We're Looking For

• Active Texas bar license and residence in Texas, preferably in the San Antonio or Plano areas.
• Approximately 5–7 years of insurance defense litigation experience, particularly personal injury and automobile claims.
• Prior trial experience required.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and drafting capabilities.
• Experience developing litigation strategies and managing cases independently.
• A responsive, proactive approach and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience managing outside counsel is a plus.
• Military experience or a military family connection is a plus.
