Job Description:
Columbia University Department of Radiology is seeking experienced Mammography Technologists to join its breast imaging team. These positions will support outpatient mammography services and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging while ensuring exceptional patient care and safety.

The ideal candidate will have strong mammography experience, excellent patient communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
• Preparing and positioning patients for imaging procedures
• Operating mammography equipment and ensuring image quality
• Maintaining compliance with MQSA, departmental, and regulatory standards
• Providing compassionate patient care and education throughout procedures
• Collaborating with radiologists and breast imaging teams
• Maintaining accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Following radiation safety and infection control protocols
• Assisting with quality assurance and equipment maintenance activities

Requirements:

• Active Mammography Technologist certification and licensure as required
• ARRT Certification required
• Mammography certification required
• Strong knowledge of breast imaging procedures and protocols
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment
