Job Description:· Lead all day-to-day tax, insurance, escrow administration, and related mortgage servicing operations while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and achievement of departmental objectives.· Ensure timely and accurate escrow disbursements for taxes, insurance premiums, HOA dues, and other escrowed obligations to prevent penalties, interest assessments, lapses in coverage, or borrower harm.· Monitors non-escrowed accounts for the current payment of taxes and placement of appropriate insurance coverages. Oversee follow-up with clients and borrowers as appropriate. · Oversee the department’s compliance with Lender Placed insurance and cancellation regulations. · Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, including RESPA, CFPB servicing requirements, investor guidelines, insurer requirements, and client servicing agreements.· Identify operational trends, root causes, and opportunities for corrective action and process improvement.· Manage relationships with tax service providers, insurance tracking vendors, and other third-party service providers to ensure contractual obligations and service level expectations are achieved.· Develop and maintain clearly written and regularly updated department procedures. · Maintain compliance with state and federal laws and regulations applicable to servicing mortgage loan escrows and payment processing.· Lead continuous improvement initiatives through automation, workflow optimization, data analysis, and technology enhancements that improve accuracy, scalability, compliance, and customer experience.
