Travel Rad Tech - $2,163 per week

Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for an immediate opening in Winchester, Virginia. Responsibilities Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Follow orders from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging. Correctly position the patient and adjust imaging equipment to appropriate positions. Prevent unnecessary radiation exposure by taking appropriate protection precautions. Calibrate imaging equipment. Prepare results for physician review. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist. Board certification (ARRT(R)) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. State licensure as required. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for extended periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Details Duration: 13 weeks. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour daily shifts. Employment type: Travel. Pay package: based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
