Regional Market Selector Supervisor

We have an exciting Regional Market Selector Supervisor opportunity in Iowa Falls, IA. In this highly impactful role, you will identify hog sales using market hog sales requirements and schedules while assisting in the oversight of selector performance and conducting training and audits. Responsibilities Oversee key performance indicators for selectors in the region and implement individual and/or group training to address deficiencies in performance. Perform selector site audits and conduct in‑field follow‑ups for sites suspected of selecting/loadout issues and communicate results to the necessary parties. Participate in monthly/quarterly marketing strategy discussions with leadership. Asses hog body composition in finishing sites to project sales according to marketing requirements. Identify and mark hogs to be moved or sold to the appropriate destination. Deliver load movement paperwork to necessary farm sites in a timely fashion. Communicate regularly with leadership and production about group performance and provide data through written reports and email correspondence. Count inventory and number of hogs scheduled for sale as applicable. Assist other team members to effectively meet department and company goals. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school preferred. Minimum of 1‑3 years swine production experience and/or training. A clear and valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record required. Schedule The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. Compensation We offer a competitive pay rate based on your skills and experience related to this position. Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move around the facility. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and move up to 300 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Primarily an office environment with some need to work in the field. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts; in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is dependent on which environment you are in. The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After‑hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
