Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii, United States. Start date: 07/13/2026 for a 15-week contract in an acute care setting. Responsibilities
- Provide continuous airway management, including ventilator and non-invasive ventilator support
- Implement and monitor respiratory care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients
- Collaborate with physicians, participate in CPR, and manage all aspects of respiratory therapy
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and related equipment (V60, Para Pac Transport Vent, PB 980, PB 840)
- Document care with computerized charting and utilize department systems (e.g., Pyxis, PB devices) as appropriate

Requirements
- Active Hawaii respiratory therapist license (Required by start of assignment; current Hawaii license preferred, but candidates with license submission already in progress may be considered)
- Credentials: RRT; BLS; ACLS; PALS with NRP preferred
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience
- Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
- Flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start date
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend an employee health appointment
