Physical Therapist Assistant

Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Salary Range: $29–$34 per hour Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with weekend rotation Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at our skilled nursing facility. Our facility provides post-hospital, short-term rehabilitation, as well as long-term and respite care to our residents. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with our Physical Therapist to provide high-quality care and treatment to our patients. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and developing individualized treatment plans for patients Implement treatment plans and provide hands‑on therapy to patients under the supervision of the Physical Therapist Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to improve their mobility and function Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation Adhere to all state and federal regulations and ethical standards in patient care Qualifications: Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program from an accredited institution Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar setting preferred Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Compassionate and patient‑centered approach to care #J-18808-Ljbffr Trinity Healthcare Talent Services, LLC
