Working alongside experienced attorneys and business partners, you will help navigate complex commercial agreements, manage legal risk, and support key strategic initiatives across the organization. This team plays a critical role in enabling business growth while maintaining a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and client-focused service. How You'll Contribute We are looking for a dedicated Associate Legal Counsel - Contracts with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to work on commercial service agreements in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will effectively ensure legal conformity, minimize probability of exposure, demonstrate dependability and be willing to commit to working from the office at least three days a week. Serve as the primary attorney supporting the corporate procurement and strategic sourcing teams, including the review, analysis, and negotiation of a wide variety of vendor services agreements, including IT and technology contracts. Lead the drafting, management, and negotiation of corporate non-disclosure agreements, serving as the primary attorney responsible for the NDA workflow. Draft, review, and negotiate agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and business requirements. Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams to advance enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and business objectives. Support Envestnet’s business practices, policies, internal controls, and procedures designed to drive value and mitigate risk What You'll Need to Bring Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school Member in good standing of a state bar Strong drafting and analytical skills Ability to understand business needs and requirements Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Willingness and capacity to learn new and evolving regulatory fields. Nice-to-Haves Minimum of 0.5 to 2 years of legal experience drafting and negotiation in areas of procurement, strategic sourcing and/or vendor management. The range listedrepresentsa good‑faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will bedeterminedbased on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications and geographic location,in accordance withapplicable pay transparency laws.This role is eligible for an additional incentivecomponentas part of the total rewards package.
