Job Description

Are you an experienced inventory professional ready to take the next step into leadership? We are seeking a motivated  Inventory Supervisor to oversee daily inventory operations in a fast-paced, technology-driven manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll lead Inventory Clerks across assigned shifts, ensure inventory accuracy, coordinate material movement, and support production through efficient inventory control. You'll partner with warehouse, production, planning, and management teams to drive operational excellence while helping improve inventory processes and overall efficiency. Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory operations, including material receipts, material issues, inventory transfers, and inventory control activities.
• Lead and support Inventory Clerks while ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory audits.
• Coordinate daily workflow and staffing assignments to support operational demands.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Process and oversee inventory transactions using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Ensure inventory materials are properly stored, handled, and maintained according to company procedures.
• Maintain organized, safe, and audit-ready inventory locations.
• Partner with production, warehouse, planning, and management teams to ensure efficient material flow.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Communicate operational issues, risks, and inventory concerns to leadership in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience

• Three or more years of inventory, warehouse, materials management, or supply chain experience preferred.
• One to two years of supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience managing electronic components or manufacturing inventory is highly desirable.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, MES, or similar inventory management software preferred.
• Experience supporting multi-shift or multi-site operations is a plus.

• Excellent organizational and inventory control abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely handle inventory materials and electronic components.
