Regional Maintenance Director

The Regional Maintenance Director leads facility operations and capital planning across all communities, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and the delivery of safe, efficient, and comfortable environments through proactive maintenance and infrastructure management.

Lead capital planning and project execution across facilities, aligning priorities with operational needs and budgets.

Serve as the organization's subject matter expert for maintenance, construction, capital improvements, and facility operations.

Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe, functional, and comfortable environment.

Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs for facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure.

Provide guidance and operational support to facilities on maintenance-related issues and emergency situations.

Partner with local leadership to train, support, and develop maintenance teams.

Monitor maintenance activities to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to established standards.

Develop and manage departmental budgets, inventory, and resource allocation.

Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements, including OSHA, EPA, fire safety, and building codes.

Manage contractor relationships and oversee major projects to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely completion.

Develop and implement life safety and emergency preparedness programs.

Identify and resolve maintenance and facility issues with minimal disruption to operations.

Collaborate with facility and corporate leadership to support operational and physical plant needs.

Respond to facility emergencies, including fire, severe weather, flooding, and hazardous material incidents, and lead evacuation efforts when necessary.

Conduct audits of life safety systems and equipment, ensuring regulatory compliance.
