Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
Seeking a qualified Med/Surg RN to provide expert nursing care in a busy acute care hospital. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care, support unit operations, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a Medical/Surgical unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage related emergencies.
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in the electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Float within scope to other units or sister facilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or Compact RN license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Med/Surg experience, including telemetry and dysrhythmia management.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required.
• Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting dysrhythmias and managing related emergencies.
• Ability to work 4x12 night shifts, with flexibility for 3x12 schedules.
• Must be willing to float within scope and work every other weekend.
