Event Staff Members play a direct and integral role in making each couple’s wedding day shine while supporting the smooth, safe, and welcoming operation of the venue, and they do so without sacrificing a full-time job or school schedule during the week. This position is best suited for someone looking for steady, year-round, weekend work who enjoys being part of a reliable and joyful team. We invest time in training our Event Staff and value individuals who want to grow with us, so we do not hire this role on a seasonal or summer-only basis . Scheduling & Shift Options We have two options for Event Staff at each of our weddings: 1. Daytime Event Staff Member Both of the following shifts on Fridays & Scheduled Saturdays Morning Shift: 7:00am to 12:00pm Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm to 6:00pm Or: 2. Night Shift Event Staff Member Just the closing shift on Fridays & Scheduled Saturdays/Sundays Closing Shift: 7:00pm to 1:00am While availability across the weekend is required, we typically schedule Event Staff on two of the three days each weekend. Duties & Responsibilities: Greet and thank guests upon arrival Set tables and chairs for events or tours Hang additional lighting as required Hang customer items as required Set out linens and fold napkins Restock bathroom and kitchen supplies Clear out kitchen for caterers Pack up guest items if required Set ceremony chairs as directed by Event Manager Set outdoor furniture (screens, tables, chairs, heaters) Light candles Greet and direct guests Move ceremony chairs Other preparation as delegated by Event Manger At the end of the night, assist with putting away chairs, tables, and other furniture Garbage switch-out and removal Requirements Mission Statement: Making Other People Shine Core Values : CARE: We care first for each other, then customers SERVICE: We wow our customers with service and hospitality PROCESS: We follow repeatable systems to ensure consistently excellent experiences for our customers and co-workers IMPROVEMENT: We constantly improve and raise the bar on our service experience, our facility, our brand, ourselves Additional Notes : This role is built to be a rewarding, weekend-only side-hustle for someone with another role or school Monday–Thursday Applicants can expect 8–16 hours per weekend and will be guaranteed consistent Friday shifts for steady income The pay for this role is $15/hour, which is intended to be on the higher end of entry part-time roles for Janesville, WI in 2026 #J-18808-Ljbffr
