Job Title: Agent Growth Coordinator
Employer: American Benefit Services, Inc. (ABS)
Department: Recruiting
Key Responsibilities:
1. Agent Recruiting & Business Development
- Recruit licensed insurance agents through:
- Cold calling
- Inbound leads from ABS social media
- Email & text marketing campaigns
- Follow-up outreach to email opens and non-responders
- Website and inbound inquiries
- Film/YouTube
- Conduct introductory calls to:
- Explain the ABS value proposition
- Assess agent fit and production potential
- Move agents through onboarding and contract process
- Maintain consistent outbound recruiting activity with defined call and outreach metrics
2. Agent Contract & Relationship Management
- Run outbound campaigns to the existing ABS agent base to:
- Build relationships
- Encourage consolidation of contracts under ABS
- Identify growth opportunities
- Support new and existing agent retention through regular check-ins and value-add outreach
- Coordinate targeted campaigns to activate dormant or under-producing agents
- Send all necessary updates, including contracting, and follow newly recruited agents through year one sales growth.
3. Marketing & Outreach Support
- Assist with execution of recruiting campaigns:
- Email blasts – Constant Contact
- Follow-up call campaigns
- Text Campaigns
- Agent re-engagement initiatives
- Provide feedback on agent objections, market trends, and recruiting effectiveness
4. Team Participation / Collaboration
- Stepping into current systems & current team involvement
Ideal Candidate Profile & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred experience in sales, recruiting, and/or customer service.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including phone presence.
- Comfortable with outbound calling and follow-up.
- Strong networking skills and the ability to identify highly skilled talent during the recruitment process.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Coachable and willing to learn new skills and systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Motivated and driven by sales.
- Motivated by both base stability and performance-based income.
- Professionalism (demeanor and appearance)
- Life and health insurance licensed or willing to become licensed
Compensation Structure:
$50,000 - $55,000 annually for year one with opportunities for growth
Performance Metrics (KPIs):
This role will be measured by clear, objective metrics, including:
- Daily/weekly recruiting call volume
- New agent recruits onboarded
- Agent production from recruited agents
- Contract consolidation results from existing agent base
- Outreach activity to existing agent base
- Responsiveness and service quality to agent inquiries
