Sleep Medicine Physician

Northwell Health is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine Physician, also BC/BE in Pulmonary Medicine, to join their Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, NY. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to nationally and internationally recognized programs known for expertise in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, alongside innovative clinical research. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team of physicians within a large, diverse academic medical center, with an academic appointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell. Practice Info The Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Program at Lenox Hill Hospital has 14 dedicated full-time physicians. The program includes specialized centers for interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, advanced lung disease, cystic fibrosis, non-CF bronchiectasis, asthma, lung transplant, interstitial lung disease, and sleep medicine. A comprehensive, multicenter lung cancer screening program is headed system-wide by Lenox Hill physicians. Lenox Hill Hospital has ten pulmonary and critical care fellows. The bronchoscope suite and sleep center at LHH are state-of-the-art and recently constructed. The division enjoys a collegial relationship with its thoracic surgical colleagues and close cooperation with cardiology for the pulmonary hypertension program. Compensation Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000 Competitive salary Sign-On Bonus Benefits Benefits package Academic appointment at the medical school 100% employer-paid tuition expenses towards a master's degree from Hofstra University for eligible employees $5,000 annually in reimbursement toward qualified tuition expenses for those attending another university Eligibility for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program (PSLF) Requirements BE/BC Sleep Medicine Physician BC/BE in Pulmonary Medicine Successful completion of Sleep Medicine Fellowship training program at an ACGME accredited program Successful completion of prior Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at an ACGME accredited program, with board certification / eligibility Experience with PSG/HST interpretation and reporting Effective communication and teaching skills with ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
