Description The Inventory Picker is primarily responsible for the day-to-day picking of orders, updating order systems, and returning items to stock in the inventory area. Responsibilities Daily picking of component parts for customer work orders. Input and monitor inventory information on tablet or computer. Ensure parts are returned to their proper stocking location. Ensure picked orders are delivered to the appropriate area(s). Report inventory shortages to the Inventory Supervisor immediately. Investigate inventory discrepancies when requested by the Inventory Supervisor. Maintain a clean work environment. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills. Basic math skills (measuring, use of calculator). Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to use weight scales. Capacity to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Can stand and walk frequently; use hands to handle objects and tools; reach with hands and arms; sit occasionally. Requires close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Noise level is usually moderate in a manufacturing plant.
