Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Gastroenterologist, you will join Dignity Health Medical Group - North State, a multi-specialty medical group aligned with Dignity Health. You will play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive gastroenterological care in Redding, CA, focusing on general GI procedures, regular screenings, and diagnosing and treating a wide range of digestive disorders affecting the esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, small intestine, and colon.

You will provide expert clinical care within a collaborative environment, benefiting from mentorship with established physicians and partnering closely with the hospitalist team for admissions. This general GI practice offers a light, shared call schedule (1:4), allowing for excellent work-life balance. While ERCP and EUS skills are available, they are not required for this position, providing flexibility based on your expertise.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist with a passion for delivering high-quality digestive health services, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to working within a supportive group in a community known for its outdoor recreation, good schools, and affordable real estate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general gastroenterology procedures and regular screenings.

• Diagnose and treat a wide array of disorders of the digestive system.

• Participate in a light, shared call schedule (1:4).

• Collaborate with the hospitalist team for patient admissions.

We are offering the following incentives to eligible new hires:

• Excellent income potential with a Salary Guarantee of $655,000 per year, plus call pay and uncapped productivity incentive.

• Signing Incentive up to $40,000.

• Relocation Incentive up to $20,000.

Job Requirements

Required:

• Active or eligible medical license in the state of California

• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
