Job Description Location: USA - MO - Kansas City - 82nd Ter Hourly Wage Range: $24.32 - $33.44 Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility and manage informed consent, including AIDS education and self‑exclusion. Conduct medical history interviews, physical examinations, blood testing and review serological protein electrophoresis results. Evaluate donor reactions and follow SOPs for medical emergencies, including transport to emergency care. Consult with the Center Physician or Medical Affairs on findings and guidance on medical or technical issues. Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents and determine further evaluation by occupational health or EHS. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats. Qualifications High school diploma or graduate equivalent recognized nursing program; state requirements. Licensed or certified in the state of assignment (LPN or LVN). Current CPR and AED certification. State licensure for basic IV therapy. Complete FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Two years of clinical or hospital experience.
