Description

To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. Estimated pay range for this position is $32.12 - $41.76 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications:
To perform histological preparations that are consistent with the Section's Policies and Procedures in order to deliver quality slides to the pathologist in a timely manner. Estimated pay range for this position is $32.12 - $41.76 / hour depending on experience.Degrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.

Licenses & Certifications:

• Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Clinical Laboratory Supervisor.

Additional Qualifications:

• Complete knowledge of Histology lab procedures including cryostat, gross room, accessioning, embedding, microtomy and staining.
• TN - Clinical Laboratory Technologist or SU - Clinical Laboratory Supervisor license required.
• Either license must have qualification in histology technologist.
• ASCP certification is preferred.

Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 yearDegrees:

• High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
