Reports To: Senior Director of Operations Work Type: Hybrid Benefits Flexible Schedules (no weekends, no late evenings) Paid CEU Events 11 Paid Holidays 2 Personal Holidays per year Mileage Reimbursement Hybrid Work Options Annual Bonus No Insurance Funding Remote Work Stipend Fun and Diverse Company Culture Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance 401(k) Paid Vacation Sick Leave Responsibilities Maintains consistent, reliable schedule with participants/students Develop behavior plans Provides training and ongoing support for staff and operations Supervise behavior plan implementation Conduct behavioral assessments, functional assessments and functional analyses Represent the Company for meetings with Regional Centers, School Districts and other funding sources Develop company practices related to behavior services Monitors, evaluates and adjusts participant behavior plans to provide enhanced customer service, meet customer needs and increase customer satisfaction Confer with staff members to discuss participant behavioral and staff training issues, coordinate activities and resolve problems Coordinate activities concerned with participant service, quality and discuss pertinent items with Directors and others as identified to achieve these goals Review reports and recommend approval to support changes Write clinical recommendation reports and fade‑out plans as needed Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines Desired Skills and Abilities Laws and Regulations – Knowledge of laws and regulations as they pertain to services provided by the company Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including needs assessment, meeting quality standards and evaluating customer satisfaction English Language – Knowledge of word choice, spelling, composition rules and grammar Mathematics – Knowledge of arithmetic, statistics and applications Computer and Technology – Basic computer skills (desktop, laptop, servers), keyboarding, use of company‑approved software, Microsoft Office, internet browsers and search engines, mobile phone use, and multi‑line telephone systems Knowledge of ABA principles – Theory, methods and evidence‑based practice Judgment and Decision‑making – Considers costs and benefits to choose the most appropriate action Coordination – Adjusts actions in relation to others’ actions Critical Thinking – Uses logic and reasoning to evaluate solutions Negotiation – Brings others together and reconciles differences Active Listening – Gathers and understands communication, asks questions and does not interrupt Monitoring – Assesses performance to improve or correct Complex Problem Solving – Identifies complex problems and evaluates options Reading Comprehension – Understands written documents Communication – Uses verbal, non‑verbal and para‑verbal modes effectively Leadership – Guides, mentors and counsels to achieve shared goals Oral Comprehension – Understands spoken information Oral Expression – Communicates clearly in speaking Written Comprehension – Reads and understands written information Problem Sensitivity – Recognizes when problems may arise Speech Clarity – Speaks clearly Speech Recognition – Identifies and understands others’ speech Written Expression – Communicates clearly in writing Inductive Reasoning – Combines information to form general rules Deductive Reasoning – Applies general rules to specific problems Fluency of Ideas – Generates multiple ideas on a topic Education and Experience Current BCBA certification required (verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board). A Master’s degree in psychology, education or a related human services field. Minimum of two years of experience or training in caring and supervising clients in a licensed adult day program or an adult day health care facility, or in caring and supervising adults with developmental disabilities. Physical Demands Employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, crawl, climb, run and kneel; use hands to operate controls; talk or hear; occasionally reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds; and have close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Essential Requirements Willing to travel within California up to 75% of the time Must be located in one of the following California counties: Sacramento, San Joaquin, Amador, Calaveras, Modesto, Merced, Fresno or Tulare Board‑Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or a Behavior Management Consultant as defined by Title 17 of the CCR section 54342(a) required at least 2 hours per person per month or averaged semi‑annually and can be prorated based on part‑time attendance Physically and mentally fit to work with clients who may be potentially dangerous to self or others.
