Cardiology Physician

Opportunity: Physician - Cardiology Job Details: Provide locum General Cardiology coverage across multiple campus locations on an ongoing basis Onsite coverage hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM performing General Cardiology services Night call coverage from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM covering all four sites - not required every night Hub and spoke model with hub being an academic medical center, with possibility of some ambulatory visits Inpatient rounds supported by APP support on weekdays only - no APP support on weekends or during call Required procedures include General Cardiology, ECHO, TEE, EKG, and Stress Testing EMR system is EPIC Night call volume is generally low - most calls involve consults that are typically seen the following day Very rarely does a physician need to report to the facility during night call hours Board Certified in Cardiology required Active Nebraska license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) required Active Iowa license or IMLC highly preferred and must be in process at time of name clear Active ACLS, BLS, and DEA highly preferred Must disclose specific available dates and acknowledge night call coverage responsibilities at all four sites Must detail number of shifts per month available on an ongoing basis at time of name clear On-call and weekend availability possible Facility: This facility is a well-established academic medical center operating within a hub and spoke model across multiple metro campus locations.
