Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Role Overview Provides outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatments in a patient-centered, outpatient setting. Works directly in a 1:1 environment with diverse patients, collaborating with a team of therapists, assistants, and aides. Responsible for developing treatment plans, educating patients and families, and making referrals as needed. Delegates tasks appropriately, documents clinical activities, and conducts assessments and re-evaluations to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy and a valid Physical Therapist License. No prior experience necessary, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical judgment skills are essential. Key Duties Establishes and implements individualized treatment plans considering discharge needs and functional goals. Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers, making appropriate referrals. Delegates interventions to assistants and students based on their skill levels. Completes accurate and timely documentation according to departmental policies. Performs assessments, re-assessments, and consultations to ensure effective therapy services.
