AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Auto Technician PositionJD TIRE is looking for a full time auto technician to join our team. Ideally we are seeking a technician with 2 years experience minimum, who can service all makes and models. We handle everything from tires, brakes and front end, exhaust, accessories, timing belts, engines, transmissions, clutches. JD TIRE also specializes in lift kits, classic and performance cars.Position is $30.00 flat rate with a 40 hour weekly guarantee, commensurate with experience.We have a growing loyal customer base along with new customers every day and need this position filled to keep up with our busy shop schedule!Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Checking over vehicles thoroughly with a multi-point inspection and communicate issues to teammatesDiagnose and repair customer vehiclesProviding excellent customer serviceQualifications in addition to mechanical skills:Communicate effectively and work well with others in a professional mannerTime management - managing one's own time and time of othersBasic Computer skillsClean Driving RecordOwn your own toolsNYSI license - either currently have or obtain once employedWe Offer:A shop equipped with the newest technology and equipment in a clean and professional environmentUniforms are providedDiscounts on products and servicesVery competitive wagesBenefits include: CDPHP medical, Guardian dental; Life insurance, Davis vision, 401K, paid sick, holiday and vacation time.Open Mon-Fri 8-5; Sat 9-3.
