- Range Safety OfficerC2 Tactical Mesa - Brickyards - Mesa, AZ 85212## OverviewSalary Range$16.00 - $18.00 Hourly## DescriptionJob SummaryThe incumbent will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment on the shooting range, including as necessary, limited personal instruction to customers as needed. The incumbent will also be responsible for maintaining a clean area for the shooters at all times.Responsibilities and DutiesRange Supervision (50%) The RO will spend a large portion of time monitoring the shooting lanes and customers insuring safe operations of both C2 Tactical equipment and customer firearms.Customer Assistance (30%) The RO will spend some time assisting customers with the safe operations of their equipment. This will also include direct instruction to customers that will allow for safe operations.Cleaning (20%) The RO will ensure that the floor behind the shooters is clear of debris to include ammo boxes, targets, spent casings and other debris. This will also include the tops of shooting benches following each shooter as they complete their stay. Furthermore, the RO will be responsible for emptying out the brass capture buckets and trash buckets.## QualificationsQualifications and Skills· Customer service skills a must· Firearms safety knowledge strongly recommended· While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate firearms, brooms and range equipment.· Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close and far vision requirements· Lift 50 pounds over their head
