Senior BI Developer

Sr. Business Intelligence Reports Developer US/Remote Job Summary The BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that provide actionable insights to support data- driven decision-making. This role focuses on developing data models, managing data integration between CRM systems and the Operational Data Store (ODS), and creating interactive Power BI dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Power BI skills, experience working with CRM data (such as Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or similar), and a solid understanding of ODS architecture and ETL processes. Duties & Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain BI and data analytics solutions using SQL, Power BI, CRM data, and Operational Data Store (ODS) platforms. • Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources, including CRM systems. • Integrate CRM data (Salesforce, Dynamics 365, or other platforms) into the ODS to support consolidated reporting and analytics. • Design and implement data models in Power BI, ensuring data integrity and efficient performance. • Create, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to various business functions (sales, marketing, customer service, etc.). • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions. • Maintain and optimize data refresh schedules and ensure data accuracy and timeliness. • Work closely with data engineers and system administrators to ensure smooth data integration and ODS performance. • Implement data governance, quality checks, and security standards across BI environments. 1 • Document BI processes, data flows, and technical designs for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing. Requirements & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related discipline.

• 3–6 years of experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries, stored procedures, and

performance tuning. • Hands-on experience with Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and Power BI Service). • Experience working with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, or equivalent platforms. • Proven experience in building and maintaining Operational Data Store (ODS) or data warehouse solutions.

• Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar).
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake,

normalization). • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, or other relational database systems.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
