Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services - OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks to ensure surgical instruments are maintained in sterile condition.
• Provide assistance to surgical teams, particularly proficient in cardiovascular procedures as a heart team member.
• Scrub independently, demonstrating readiness and ability to handle various surgical instruments.
• Participate in rotational call coverage to support the surgical team needs, including occasional weekend shifts.
• Ensure accurate documentation and manage surgical instruments pre- and post-procedure.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes and maintain workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited surgical technology program, verified upon request.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar surgical setting.
• Ability to scrub independently with proven expertise in surgical procedures.
• Flexible availability to manage rotational calls and support weekend shifts as needed.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical processes.
• Applications are only accepted from candidates outside a 50-mile radius.
