Your new role As a highly skilled technician, you will primarily support the continued growth of Ramboll’s Site Solutions team working primarily on state and federal remedial and operation and maintenance projects in the northeast United States. You may also work on projects in other Ramboll practice areas. Responsibilities Assisting with implementation of field programs by participating in field work preparation and execution to characterize groundwater, surface water, soil, sediment, and air Providing technical assistance, as required, to perform minor repairs of equipment, troubleshooting, and/or preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery, routine inspections, and operations of remedial systems Assisting with site and/or routine inspections Order equipment and supplies for field activities Maintain equipment, materials, and supplies at the office or job site Fieldwork may require up to 50% travel and may also include overnight and occasional weekend work The potential to oversee subcontractors to perform selected operations The potential to interact with regulatory and client personnel while performing field activities Qualifications Associate degree required; 3-5 years of experience preferred but not required Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred Experience in field collection of groundwater, surface water, soil, sediment, and/or air samples OSHA HAZWOPER 40‑hour certification and current 8‑hour refresher a plus Ability to carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
