Project Manager

Job Summary Our Energy & Utilities client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team! The position is focused on administrative and operational support for project teams, particularly around permits, tracking, documentation, and database management. The role supports internal and external project activities by coordinating tasks, tracking permit status, maintaining spreadsheets/databases, and assisting project teams with day-to-day administrative functions. Responsibilities Support project teams with administrative and coordination tasks Assist with environmental permits, traffic control permits, and related documentation Submit and track permit requests internally until approval/return Coordinate with teams responsible for permit processing Maintain and update spreadsheets and databases Assign project ownership/tasks and follow up to ensure completion Work with both internal and external project stakeholders Send customer communications/letters Attend meetings and collect project-related data Support ongoing project tracking and reporting activities Required Skills & Experience Excellent written and verbal communication Interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision‑making Strong analytic and problem‑solving skills Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Preferred Skills & Experience SAP Procore AutoCAD Key Competencies & Behaviors Strong organization and follow-through Clear and professional communication Problem‑solving and adaptability Location San Diego, CA (primarily onsite) Compensation & Benefits The approximate pay range for this position is between $26.00 and $35.78 per hour. Payment will be based on factors such as background, knowledge, skills, and location. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Plans are offered.
