Registered Nurse - Medsurg

Schedule: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive patient care in a Medsurg setting, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and necessary treatments as prescribed. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote optimal health outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and collaborate with medical staff.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Active RN licensure and verification.
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (as applicable).
Proof of MMR and Varicella vaccination or declination.
Completion of the Prime Basic Pharmacology Exam and Rhythm Interpretation Screening.
Completion of drug screening and background check.
