Our Mission Promote the health and well-being of every animal entrusted to our care Continuously grow through advanced medical knowledge and techniques Uphold compassion and integrity in every client and team interaction Base Salary starting at $140,000 (for experienced candidates) Production Bonus — no negative accrual option available Comprehensive health coverage with prescription benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) Reimbursement for licenses and professional dues 401(k) Retirement Plan Relocation Stipend Key Responsibilities Comprehensive patient exams and medical work-ups Client communication and education Performing diagnostic procedures and surgery Maintaining accurate medical records Pharmacy duties including prescribing medications and following controlled substance protocols Promote teamwork and staff efficiency Collaborate with the Hospital Manager on weekly priorities and expectations Evaluate and monitor hospital protocols from intake to discharge Monitor cases and participate in daily rounds when possible Participate in practice management updates and training Performs other duties as assigned by Management Qualifications (Required) Veterinarian degree (DVM or VMD) from an accredited college or university Current State Veterinary License DEA registration must be obtained and maintained 1+ years of experience in a veterinary practice Strong diagnostic and clinical skills; excellent surgical and dental skills Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality veterinary care Ability to communicate effectively with all members of the Medical and Hospital staff Client communication skills; ability to elicit information and establish rapport Demonstrates confidence and reassurance when dealing with distressed patients Physical ability to perform tasks; may require lifting up to 50 pounds Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) Clinical knowledge across cardiovascular, respiratory, orthopedic, neurological, and other systems Problem-solving and effective client communication Professionalism and teamwork Business acumen and ethics in veterinary practice Commitment to continuing education Compensation Pay Range: $130,000 — $140,000 USD for full-time equivalence; part-time compensation prorated based on experience and hours/shifts.
