Pay Rate: $45.00–$70.00/hour , based on experience
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
⏰ Hours: 12-hour shifts | 72 hours per 2-week pay period

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting. The RN will assess patients, respond to emergencies, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, and provide education to patients and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care within the Oregon RN scope of practice.
• Assess patient conditions and develop and implement appropriate care plans.
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergency and crisis situations.
• Monitor patients and communicate changes to physicians and the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Educate patients and their families regarding care and treatment.
• Prioritize and adapt to rapidly changing patient and unit needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN License – Required
• AHA BLS Certification – Required
• Recent Emergency Department/RN experience – Required
• Recent acute-care hospital experience within the past 5 years – Required
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment.

Preferred Certifications

• ACLS
• PALS or ENPC
• TNCC
• CEN or equivalent emergency nursing certification
• SAFE/workplace violence training

Preferred certifications may be obtained within the specified timeframe after hire, according to facility requirements.
