Tax Supervisor

My client is looking for a Tax Supervisor to help assist with their operations based in Alexandria, VA. This is a role within the public accounting industry, and the Tax Supervisor will assist with tax preparation, projects, research and analysis for high-net-worth individuals, estates and trusts. The ideal Tax Supervisor for this role will be responsible for calculating quarterly tax payments, analyzing state and local tax returns, updating tax portfolios, tax research, sustaining knowledge of technical issues and assisting with tasks as needed. Daily responsibilities of the Tax Supervisor include:
- Prepare high net worth individual tax returns.
- Analyze state and local filing requirements.
- Calculate quarterly tax payments.
- Prepare and update tax portfolios.
- Assist with tax research.
- Assist with other ad hoc duties.
The ideal Tax Supervisor we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:
- 4+ years of public accounting or relevant tax experience.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- Experience with tax for high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong communication skills.
- CPA or EA, required. xhyhwjd
